This site "piontekdesign" shows my works in jewellery, objects and accessories, which are dealing with my personal interpretation of the crossovers between: utility objects = jewellery = design = art ... or something inbetween... which I named in german language "Unschmuck" which could translate into: "notjewels" ... All of these objects have one thing in common: they are not jewellery in that classical meaning ...
Still, ...they are manufactured by hand in a classical way ... and they are made of classical precious materials like: finegold, gold, finesilver, sterlingsilver and platinum, (others are made of more exotic materials like meteorite, rare woods, tungsten etc). ..
and they might even wear in a classical way as a classical jewelry piece....
but they are not classical jewellery, because behind each of these pieces are that "other" intention or use, than to be just a nice piece of jewellery ....!!
some of these objects are for example aspirine boxes disguised as pendants to help you to survive better the day after..., or jewels that serve as tools to communicate your messages / signs to others ... rings, conceived to be self-defensive weapons... and another group of objects work as beautyfull trojan horses with an esoteric / healing meaning and relay more to gemstone-therapy than to body adornment.

I develop, design and manufacture objects to aid the wearer of my works:... to better be able to show his true colours ,.... to communicate easier the things he wants to say about himself.....to underline his personality.... to find easier a perfect suiting partner for life or a sex play.... to use the energy of gemstones and metal combinations.....or just to be happy about usefull (disguised) tools , which can be worn as jewellery, and are allways within reach ...

Another part of my work deals with the idea to abuse the human body as an exhibition space / moving gallery for conceptual art objects, ...to penetrate easier the heads of the viewers who normally don t find their way into galleries and art exhibitions ... and maybe to provoke an effect!
The category for the arm shows objects, which can be used as "colliers" or neckpieces...
Tools means useful objects which can be worn as jewellery, ...
At signs you will find my special jewelry, which is meant to be a tool / sign of commnunication / a signal for adepts / a symbol of attitude ...
Taken forms means jewelry and objects whose origin are laying in forms and structures which already exists and which become now a new context within beeing jewelry ...
recycled jewellery are my objects which has been adopted, taken over or stolen and then recycled into something new ...
With the transformers it is possible for you to make presents in a new way ...
Photojewels means jewellery, which makes your body to an exhibition space for conceptual photography ...
